Crab Island trips in destin, Florida

Please reach us at  850-730-0070 if you cannot find an answer to your question.

What do we need to bring?  What do you provide?  Who has to wear a life jacket  when on the boat?

Please bring towels, sunscreen, sunglasses, beach hat, your choice of beverages, of beverages, and food/snacks. No alcoholic beverages are sold at Crab Island, so BYOB, but please no glass bottles. Also, we do not have a license to provide alcoholic beverages, but we do provide a cooler with ice to keep your drinks nice and cold, and we do provide bottled water. You may want to bring a water proof cell phone case if your cell phone is not waterproof. We do have a few phone chargers on board, but you may want to bring one along with you, too. We also provide a bluetooth stereo system so you can connect and listen to your favorite music. Plus, we provide Bote floating chairs, a giant lilypad, a nerf football, frisbee, two paddle boards, and more, free of charge.  Also, bring a light jacket during certain months in the event the weather is a little chilly.  We provide life jackets for everyone onboard, however children 6 and under are required to wear a life jacket while the boat is underway.

Are your cruises kid friendly?

Yes we are however, we can NOT permit children under the age of 2 years old for safety reasons.

Do I need to bring cash or an ID?

Vendors at Crab Island will take credit cards, or cash.

It is always a good idea to have your ID with you. Although, Crab Island does not sell alcohol, and we do not have a license to sell alcohol, the Coast Guard or law enforcement can stop us at anytime for a periodic safety inspection, and they may ask to see your ID if you are consuming alcohol on the boat.  We are not responsible for any underage drinking.

Our captain appreciates tips and the normal rate is approximately 20% based on the service you receive.

Are you pet friendly?

We love dogs, so you are welcome to bring your furry friend to enjoy the trip.  We only ask that you notify us at booking or by phone prior to departure so that we can book your private trip.  The boat must be booked entirely by your party so that others are not affected by having a dog onboard.  Some people are not dog people and others are allergic to them so we make sure to be considerate of all factors so that you can enjoy the day with your pet.

Is there parking? How early should I arrive?

Since Parking is very limited due to the high number of people enjoying paradise, we strongly encourage you to find an authorized ride-share vehicle to take you to the East Dock in front of the Edge restaurant for drop off and pickup. There is also public parking across the street for approximately $15.00 per day, or you can enjoy a meal at the Edge restaurant prior to departure and park in their private lot. Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled departure. We encourage our passengers to use the bathroom prior to departure. There are public restrooms at the dock and in nearby restaurants.

How many people are permitted on the boat?

The maximum number of people allowed on our boat is six (6) passengers. We have a (4) four passenger minimum to operate the boat, and may need to reschedule if less than minimum is not met. Charters with more than (6) six passengers will need multiple boats. CONTACT US FOR AVAILABILITY AND RATES.

Please check with your booking agent on the refund policy.  The captain also has the right to cancel trips due to weather related incidents, emergencies and/or unforseen circumstances.
